Fauteuil / Armchair

Fauteuil Québécois à 3 lattes, peinture craquelée verte foncé d'origine. Extrémité de l'accoudoir se terminant en volute primitive, siège remplacé il y a longtemps en très bon état. J’aime le montant arrière du fauteuil qui montre un nœud dans le bois qui a survécu à l’âge et à son usure. Petit fauteuil confortable. Québec, vers 1870.

A 3 slat-back Quebec armchair in original dark green crackled paint. Primitive scrolled end of the armrest, seat replaced long time ago in great condition. I like the back post of the chair which shows a knot in the wood that has survived age and wear. A small and comfortable armchair. Quebec, Circa 1870
